I am a school teacher on "sabatical" the past 3 years with my kids at home. I have 7 years classroom teaching experience from 6th-11th grades in history, reading, Special Education/Resource, Gifted and Talented and study skills. Since taking a break from the classroom I have tutored students in all subject areas, everything from specific subject TAKS preparation to general everyday homework help and organization. Generally my tutoring has focused on students in 4th-8th grades. My specialty is helping the struggling student; those who are lacking motivation or those who are having a hard time finding success. My teaching style is relaxed yet focused which helps to get results.
