A senior at the University of North Texas, I am working towards a B.A. in Journalism. I also have a double minor in Psychology and Political Science. In 2012, I completed my A.A. in Christian Education at Logos Christian College.
Experience
I am convinced that quality writing is attainable to anyone willing to work for it. For this reason, I find tutoring incredibly rewarding. To be able to prove to a student that they have a story to tell and meanwhile pull their best to the surface of their writing is a daily victory that I am pleased to take part in. How Do I Do This? It is my opinion that poor writing comes from laziness and disinterest. I work with my students to bring excitement to the subject they are writing about, then I break down the writing process into digestible steps. Ultimately, the final product is in their hands, but we will work through grammar, spelling and punctuation mistakes, as we go. I am currently a copywriter and blogger for a marketing company in Denton, TX.

Unfortunately, I have fallen into the trap of Pinterest addiction. I spend far too much time and money making crafts for my home and friends. I am also a major movie buff and I try to catch theater productions when they come to the Dallas area.
